Nova Scotia

Border of Nova Scotia, NS
Sudden Panic!
It really caught me off guard. I was so happy on the ferry, everything was going well and as soon as I got off the ferry I had a mild anxiety/panic attack. I felt I couldn't bike any further. My stomach hurt and I felt nauseous. There was no shade so I lied by the car. It is interesting how our thoughts can impact our body. I finally got a control of my mind and was able to ride for 70km.

So much beauty here
It is so beautiful here. It's all hills, forest and lakes. I find the viewpoints are getting nicer and nicer. I even found a spring by the side of the road. It was so cold and refreshing. Thank you, Mother Nature!

So much beauty here
I was riding on Highway 105 today, hitting a bit of the Cabbot trail, and Alexander Bell way. It was a treat to arrive at the coolest camping spot located on a narrow passage by the highway on Baddeck River. I loved waking up in the morning and watching the fog dissipate from the water.

Nova Scotia officially conquered
I woke up quite early and the weather was not very nice; heavy clouds and possible rain. I have a relatively short ride so I know I will be ok.

I would come back here. No wonder Alexander Bell had a cottage here and loved returning each year. It is quite different from the rest of Canada, lots of high view points, cliffs, and water. I kept stopping at various rest spots to take the beauty in.<br>I made it to Sydney! In a few hours the ferry will take us to the very last province. I am so excited!
